Prologue
Alex is a girl that lived peacefully in a village. One fishing day, a wizard curses her. “Foolish human! You have stepped near my river, and for so you will pay!” he exclaimed. “This necklace and its prisoner will follow you until your pathetic life closes to an end! You will torture each other for the eternity!”
And so, Alex was never able to wear off her purple necklace. But the necklace is not the only thing coming with it. Hunter, a stray soul in the body of a half-boar man lives within the necklace magic. “I beg you, human!” exclaims Hunter. “I beg for freedom! If you find any angel tears, then you will be able to break this curse, and free the both of us!”. Alex, confused, replied: “Well, im not going into this all alone, you know. We are gonna break this curse! Toghether. Follow me, as i know a path to an old fountain, blooming with sacred water!”
Upon making it into the place, Hunter notices several warning signs about monsters and undeads. “Well, here we are. The view is nice. The air is fresh. The grass is soft.”
“It’s a nice change from the village, isn’t it?” added Alex, with a relaxed voice.
“Yeah, it is!” replied Hunter. “…so, can we go now?”
“Of course not! We are here to break the curse, remember!”
“But this place seems dangerous… Can’t we look anywhere else?”
“No, of course not!”
Hunter finally gave in, and just followed Alex into the dangers of the Green Badlands.
